Possibility to sleep in bed (survival)

it would be nice if you could actually sleep in the bed to skip the night instead of just setting the spawn point (maybe with RMB?)

the idea would fine on a flat map, but the ME world is a globe. if a person on one side of the globe make it day for him/her, it would turn night for people on the other side of the globe.
it is how it set up, one side is night and other side is day. the sun move around the planet.

+1 to Mithrilchu's comment. This would only make sense in single player.
If the nights are too long for you, I advise you too simply decrease the day cycle length in the world options. This may make your days shorter, but also your nights, so you won't have to wait so long until it's bright again.
Note also that the day/night length depends on where you are, and what season it is. Around the equator, days will be just as long as nights. The closer you get to the north pole, for example, the longer the nights are during winter.

May not be possible for a MP game but on a SP game it would really be nice to be able to sleep.
