Perfomances took a HUGE hit

Dear Devs,

first off I want to thank you for this nice patch because it brings a breath of fresh air into our beloved medieval world.

Unfortunately this update also brought a us a big issue on computer performances.

I was eager for this patch so I could expand my castle in creative mode and share it with the community

BUT when I loaded the map and I went inside the castle I found out that the character was moving soooo slow and the FPS were soooo low that made me really really sad about this update.

As I understood, you introduced a new "loading system" that loads every block of a building at once and if so this is exactely why my map has such a problem.

If what I say is correct then it's ridicolous... a sandbox game were I cannot build in big.

I know this game is still in early access BUT you really need to come up with a solution for this performances problem or people like me who likes to create megabuildings will just stop playing.

Please consider doing something to solve this problem.

Thank you.

P.S. How is it possible you have three places to send/write feedback? forums, support and steam?

Here's my creation if you are interested:

I notice it, also. I'm running twin GTX 780s, SLI. If I fly, however, there is no lag, even when cruising along at ground level.

Same here, have a RTX 2080 TI and I see a huge difference. Even locks up if you run straight in multiplayer for a while. Their graphics are much better. I am sure they will work out the DirectX issues with their API down the road and fix all these issues (hoping).

Oh wow! An RTX2080 TI?

I have a GTX970 mini... if even you have performances problems I can see why I'm having them as well lol

Yes, it is a huge drop. I kind of expected performance to drop significantly, seeing all the beautiful graphics on extreme. Looks absolutely amazing though. I am sure once they get better with DirectX API, things will be much much more smooth. It will take time though to work out those kind of kinks. I think they are going crazy with bug squashing right now.

My performace is okay most of the time but it chuggs like crazy when I first load a world. It takes a really long time for everything to render properly and there's big freezes for the first 5-10 minutes. After that it's okay, ocassional hiccups the first time you equip different tools. Be nice if all that actually happened in the load screen and not afterwards.
