Allow carts to fast travel
Submitted
I believe it could add a lot of gameplay possibilities, if the engine/programming permits.
Instead of struggling at searching and collecting resources once an engineer has traveled for a very distant place, and wishes to set an extra camp, they could have a previously built and configure utility cart (like that one on the military tutorial), full with the necessary items for a brand new house/installation.
Perhaps something very alike the fresh start on space engineers (the landing ship).
I think this would work best if you had attached a rope to the cart currently.
If your holding on to some dynamic grid with rope, that grid would also travel with you, perhaps at the cost of more food.

Allowing carts to fast travel could significantly improve the efficiency of transportation in many scenarios, providing a quicker way to traverse long distances. This would be especially beneficial in large-scale environments where time is of the essence, and delays can affect overall productivity. However, it is still uncertain whether implementing such a feature would be feasible without impacting other aspects of the system. The idea might be worth exploring, particularly in areas where convenience and speed are crucial, such as in regions requiring pnp clearance ph register for smooth operational flow. There may be a chance for such a system to be integrated if the right conditions align.
