[Feature Request] Dangerous Animals

Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my!

I'd like to see dangerous animals. Lions in the plains, wolves and bears in the forests, polar bears in the arctic, tigers in the jungle. Something along those lines.

The game needs more danger.

The funny thing is, there are actually already wolves in the game files, all one had to do is set them to public. I know they are tinkering on AI, but I would totally be okay with dumb wolves if only they added a little more life/danger into the game.

Id like to see squirrels, not those red-tail feminized city rats, But real squirrels that go from tree to tree chirping at you to attract a bear to eat you, when your in their territory, also scare off the neutral animals like deer, they also get into you food and ruin it/steal it.

I'd like to see Moose, get too close and they will stomp you to death, they like to roam and eat lower branches on Spruce trees. maybe make them wonder and seek the low bushes and small pines and eat them.

I'd like to see Bear, black and brown, there's no water in base game(yet...) so Polar's wont survive. they attack anything slower than them, take awhile to bleed out due to slower heart rate, and the front of their skull is 1cm thick, so arrows bounce off unless you get an eye, and that pisses them off. so you'd have to get a lung, heart or major artery in the neck. spears are good if they charge you, mount the heel in the dirt, point at angle, and roll to the side when they start to impale or their limp weight will kill you. are attracted by chirping squirrels calling the dinner bell.

I'd like to see linx and wolverines, shy of humans till you corner them or make them mad, then they will chase you and kill you.

I'd like to see wolves. move in packs, will take on anything they can, attempted kills gets bigger as they get hungrier.

More animals and hostile ones at that would be fantastic. I play in SP - and for me, it feels as if there is absolutely no risk, and there already is little in terms of variety.

More animals could be different sources of food, and could also tie in to some other suggestions such as equippable clothing (Or 'Space Suits' as it is in SE) that are only available if you craft the particular item, and place it in a storage slot in the wardrobe. These could be furs from the animal (this could also link in with the considered 'temperature' stat - but now I'm getting off track to this suggestion).

Dangerous animals could protect treasures that you find from treasure maps.

Perhaps 'Legendary Animals' (stronger + bigger variants) could be found at particular locations on the map, and these could be turned in to decorative trophies - such as a bear head hanging on your wall, etc, or some other reward for slaying these legendary creatures. This would encourage travel over the (massive) planet, to claim those treasures. Perhaps, in this case, animal trophies could be taken from all animals, and legendary animals serve for an achievement or guardian to some treasure

how hard would it be to reskin the deer as a wolf then apply the barbarian AI to it? 100% curious because i have no clue...

Probably easier to just import the wolves from SE. Oh, wait I forgot they're totally different games so this cannot be done. Is just as well though. Would be unfair for nature to get explosives before the players do.
