[suggestion] Thrust to weight guage

While thruster overload is a welcome addition, with my experimentation I've found by the time you get any warning, its just too late...
some kind of gauge giving the ratio between force caused by gravity and mass versus upward thrust would be most useful
This will give the user an intuitive feel for how capable (or not!) their ship actually is under different loads and environments, this is not a replacement for the thrust overload warning but an enhancement (if you really are that overloaded there should be alarms!)

Pulling from KSP, a TWR readout would also require atmo/non-atmo, and for each axis of translation, and change dynamically with weight and atmo pressure percentages. ...and for underwater!
To make it even more useful, have the ability to select what those different setting are on your 'build planner' to understand your ship's performance in those environments when building it. ...Or, as you said, just add a gauge.
