Ping damaged blocks and projections

add a shortcut to the hand welder, or to general player shortcuts, that: "pings" the nearby grids/projections, and displays a silhouette of any incomplete blocks or projections. To help players find blocks missed during repairs and welding BPs.

It might be a feature of projection block once we have it in the game.

Also to balance the feature against things like hidden bases and enemy ships. the range can be rather short, or only compatible with friendly grids.

to clarify, this feature is to address how difficult it is to find damaged/incomplete blocks. even SE1's system of displaying damaged blocks thru the projector, had issues like not showing non-functional blocks. A ping system, would function as a significant QOL improvment.

Build yourself an 'area welder' tool with a Gearforge. When active, it outlines blocks in range, displays the number of blocks in range and the components needed to get then to 100% That should cover the things you wanted.

I find myself wandering around my ship, inside and outside, clicking an anything that might have been damaged any time I see smoke or have noticed a gatling turret shooting at me.

That (area welder) helps; but the issue is, the size of ships can get big, and it's easy to miss blocks, even with an area welder. Even if you design a ship well, so that all blocks can be reached by a area welder, it can still take considerable time, to inspect every spot that way. the ping method is mainly an QOL improvement meant to address this.
