Grid Attached To Hinge Exploding

I have built a large hangar door on a hinge, built inside a carved out asteroid.

I need my hinge min degrees to be ~90 and max to be ~180.

Bug A: Hinge settings don't seem to save, and get reset, not all settings, but particularly the max degrees seems to be reset to 100.

Bug B: It might be related to bug A, but after 5-10 minutes, the entire door will move with extreme velocity and explode, causing damage to my base and ships nearby. It causes so much damage and is so violent that I have to revert the save. I don't know what exactly is causing the door to freak the hell out and explode. When I trigger the door before it explodes, it goes up and down nicely. It literally just randomly explodes.

I made sure there is a gap between the hangar door and everything else, there is no collision possible as long as my hinge settings stay correct. I could theorize that if there is a bug resetting my hinge settings, it could be trying to move into the main grid, colliding, building up force, then exploding.

I built my entire base around this garage door feature, but for now i have to tear it down cause it keeps happening.
