Phantom Forces through bugged Blueprint
Hello There,
I am not sure how or why this happens but for some reason, my grid starts producing massive amounts of upwards Force Despite having no thrusters in that Direction.
Videodemonstration on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nHiReAAHbQ
To reproduce place the grid "CLimber ml2(bugged)" in atmosphere or use the provided world save, then:
- Enter the Rover
- Turn on the downward thrusters
- Turn off the downward thrusters
- Leave the Rover
- An Upward Force is now being applied.
Also:
- The Upward Force can be increased by actively thrusting downwards while on the ground
- The Upward Force can be turned off bei Pressing the Thrust Downwards button.
Background:
I had built this rover "Older_Version(not bugged)" with downwards thrust to climb mountains with, it worked perfectly fine for hours until I flipped.
When I tried to flip back onto the wheels using gyroscopes, the rover suddenly gained an upward force and slammed me into a mountain.
Since Autosave overwrote my save when I was already in the air, I'm unable to provide an save before it was bugged.
Unable to go back to a previous save I decided to create a blueprint of the rover in it's current (bugged) state.
This is how the "CLimber ml2" Blueprint was created.
