Feedback on the feedback
I'm more confused than ever as to how this feedback system works. I've seen feedback that gets close to a hundred votes that never seems to get 'under consideration' and just vanished forever into the archives. Do archived topics ever get looked at, or is that archive essentially the forum garbage can? Likewise, I've seen topics get under twenty votes and immediately fall into 'under consideration'.
What does under consideration actually mean? What does planned actually mean?
This feedback: https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers2/pc/topic/53644-general-feedback-on-the-voting-system-and-archiving-of-feedback was marked as planned, now it's archived. Is it still planned? Nothing on the site had changed behavior-wise. Will it?
We still feel like we have to re-bump our feedback to keep people able to look at it, sometimes by harping on a topic more than we'd normally do. Things that aren't on the first page just don't get noticed by the majority of people here. I'm curious the % of votes on a topic, vs. the number of active users, since voting goes way up immediately after releases (and also the number of repeat/duplicate bugs/feedback since people don't bother to use the limited search functionality to find topics) but then in between releases, only the die-hard forum users linger here meaning things die on the vine and fall into the archive until the next wave of users drop into the forum after the next major release.
I dunno what good any of this is doing honestly.
I like this feedback
Likewise, Bartosz, are you the primary gatekeeper that decides when something is under consideration (show it to the devs), or when it gets archived?
What criteria do you use? Can we bribe you with pizza and/or beer?
