Armor blocs don't do their job.

I was in creative mode to test the effective destruction of explosion for different blocs and i didn't work as intended. until i figure that was the armorbloc's problem :

The radius of explosion effect is the same if there is shield or not.

I think that video sums it up perfectly. If the armor is intact, you'd expect the structures behind it to be much less affected.

Someone on the other post noted however that you need to account for block deformation causing damage. Essentially, if the block the "test block" is sitting on takes some damage by the deforming armor blocks, it can cause some issues, but certainly not to the exact same distance as the unshielded explosion.

And i agree, somme damages should pass through if they are in contact, like in SE1. That"s why my Destructive Test Block Meter is made with block that aren't in contact each other.


That said, my actual test bench has been improved bc damages could pass through the support. Now this risk is fixed.
