water and underwater stuff
water and underwater stuff
i though of something
with water comming to the game i have a few question will we have water bassed propulsion and be able to make boat ? but what also intereses me even more will we be able to have submarine ?
especialy with an underwater world to explore i think it could be interesting to have all that is needed to make underwater base and vehicle
i think some of the systeme needed for it would be
underwater current and hydro generator to be able to generate electricity thank to water "movevement"
pump to be able to flow water in and out of place especialy usefull if you have a base or a submarine and that there is a hole and water is flowing in with enough dedication it could be possible to eventually fix the hole and remove teh water for the inside of the sub without having to surface
compressed air storage a way to store compressed air especially usefull because if you vehicle is under water and filling up you need to replace the water with air
floataison systeme so that a floating vehicle that is filling with water would sink
ballast a block that would make a vehicle able to dive (they could work as "trusther" bassicly as they are installed on a floating vehicle they would make it able to dive but they would have to be set manually and have a weight limit like if they are able to manage a 1000ton for a ship that is 10000ton you would need 10 and you would need to be carefull to place them symetricaly or the ship would not dive straight and could tip to the side for exemple and lastly if they are damaged they do as if they where filling up so a submarine with damaged ballast would sink)
airlock for underwater base a block that is a small room that will fill itself or empty istsefl depending on if you need to get in or out of the base
torpedo and missile i think it would be nice to make most weapon not work underwater ballistic would have a max range of like 10 meter energy weapon would be dispersed by water missile would slow down and eventually stop underwater
but special "underwater" weapon could be made a torpedo tube that can launch torpedo and underwater VLS taht are able to launch custom missile verticaly like a torpedo from under the water and when out of the water would turn back into a missile to hit a target that would be aimed at with a binocular set the right code (bassicaly we open a menu for the binocular we set a code that would be secret and also set on the VLS that way we can remotly guide the missile with it)
pressure systeme so that some block get damaged if they get under a certain deepth under the water
as for planete i saw the annoncement about a full water planet and im thinking why not a full ice planete ?
bassicaly a planete entierely covered byt thick ice but deep under the ice there would be a giant vast ocean of water on the surface of the ice there would be nearly no usable ressource only scarce patch of rock that come from past fallen asteroid but nothing more but under the ice deep deep under that ocean would be hidden vast ressource deposit bigger then anything previously found on any other planete enough to never have to worry about resource ever again maybe even enough to turn an entier planete into a spaceship BUT deep enough that even with the best submarine able to go at the deepest part of any ocean you could not stay more then a certain time making so that minning those ressource is hard and staying in that ocean is even harder as for exemple absolute darkness under the ice bassicaly the best place for ressource but the most hard place for a player to stay in
adding also that some otehr ressource are pretty rare on the surface and can only be found in small quantity and are mainly found in large quantity underwater
I like this feedback
