More support for Vertical building (Ladders/Elevators)

I'd like to see some more support for building vertical vehicles/buildings, namely (fast)Ladders and elevators.
I am aware that there are stairs but they are bulky and a hassle to build in a way that aligns with vertical grids.
I like this feedback
