Ship Roll control input over sensitivity.

I'm finding especially with larger grids, that small roll inputs with Q and E keys result in much more roll movement than is desired when piloting ship grids.
Even with the lightest touch of the keys my ship rolls significantly, making small adjustments nearly impossible.
With its current exaggerated control inputs, docking using connectors may be incredibly frustrating in the future. (connector feature pending at this time)
I have not felt this when flying around using the Jetpack, only when piloting grids.
On a positive note, target based aiming (posting this after VS 1,2) is very good for precise Pitch and Yaw inputs however and this feels excellent as does the smoothness of the following camera.
Feel the same! I just created a topic post on them introducing gyro control panel settings to change power input on Row, Yaw and Pitch. The movement still needs polishing but I love the new mechanics - and just allowing further control on the individual aspects will I think also help clean up some of the issues.

I hate the new flight mechanics, the roll is way too sensitive, the red ship keeps moving when I stop pressing the button like 10 seconds ago! I can't turn effectively anymore. I can't even hit the blue ship, the red ship just keeps going under it even when I aim directly at the neck, WTF!!!!

I like the new pilot mechanics but agree that there is something wrong with the new roll sensitivity. i feel like before the roll speed was progressive and today it is roll directly at full speed

It seems to attempt a min rotation of 5 degrees even with the briefest of taps. considering even 1 degree can effect lining ships up for docking, this is a too strong of a min rotation value.

I concur there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Target-based Grid Control system, just the E and Q keys (more so when stationary than when moving at high speeds). For some reason they trigger a roll sequence even when lightly tapped, which should only happen when holding them down for some time. It should feel like the force comes off the gyros when the keys are released, as if they are not powered anymore and the only roll that happens is what is left of the momentum of the roll. Right now it seems that even if you just tap the keys, it still builds up momentum to the point where you have enough force to roll even a gigantic ship with 15 degrees or something.
