Subgrids or not
Hi.
I'm a 3000 hours player of SE 1, and are very enthusiastic about the development of SE2. :-)
One thing I am very excited about, and have played a lot around with my thoughts. Subgrids. I have tried to read about this in the dev log, but haven't successfully found anything related to this topic.
Will there be: 1. Subgrids as in SE/by default ? 2. Not necessarily becoming a subgrid AT ALL, since it fundamentally doesn't really HAVE to be - until/unless one is detaching something. 3. Optional: Add i.e piston part as either a subgrid OR add it as a part of the BASE grid.
In the case of alternative no. 3, how should it be administered ?
3a. You select which one method when attaching a rotor, piston or hinge part. 3b. You choose this setting as a global game setting from the UI before loading it up. 3c. You can adopt the subgrid as being part of the main grid in the wessel main properties tab, whenever gaining yourself access to a sort of control panel on the main grid.
Is this topic yet been decided among the dev teams? Is there an answer to this out there that I haven't yet found? Is this a "helpful" feedback, in forms of questioning ? I hope it is. :-)
Regards,
Anders from Norway.
