Space Engineers 2 Mac Support
Not Enough Votes
Well, it's as simple as that really, there is not a lot of games on Mac, and I think you could capitalise on that. I am also biased as I really want to play the game, and I don't have a PC.

I think that you can run Windows10 on some Macs, not sure how SE will function though.

Anyone who can afford a Mac that can handle games also has enough money to buy a proper PC. Looking at the prices now, the ratio is 2x or even 3x — meaning you pay double or triple for a Mac with the same performance as a PC.
Sorry, but I believe the development resources needed for a Mac version — which very likely comes with a million quirks — would be better spent elsewhere. I don’t think there should be a Mac client.

You can play on GeForce Now with a Mac. I used it for years on my iMac. This game finally convinced me to switch to PC though because GFN has a sync issue with games that don't save on the Steam Cloud which wipes build progress.
This game won't ever come to Mac for the same reason most games don't come to Mac... low GPU performance with not many cores and lack of cooling to make their products look more aesthetically pleasing. I love using Macs over PC for everyone reason except the lack of ability to play 95% of games.

I want to suggest what "Mac Support" could look like other than the native version. I'm sure there are different levels of effort to get these working, so I'd love to hear what the developers think might be realistic.
1. Windows version that works using CrossOver / wine.
2. Windows version that works on Windows 11 ARM (may not need to build ARM binaries - some other games work out of the box). Windows 11 ARM works on VMware Fusion on macOS.
Right now if I try to run in either of those, SE2 errors out saying GPU is not supported.
If there was an override to get past that GPU requirement enforcement, I could try to get you some logs.
