Onethe vastly different controls between Se1 and Se1

the current key binds are unmanageable and uninformative, nothing about control schemes

and please remove the locking the player when building cause it makes Building over large areas Difficult

the ctrl+num to switch hotbar, scroll wheel to cycle though block types,

pressing the hotkey (1-9 twice to change block siee

to the n to cycle through the mirror planes, m to toggle symmetry,

the ability to move and rotate around while placing blocks (and pgdn/pgup/home/insert/endd to rotate the block.

the X and Z to toggle jetpack and dampeners

they are easier to manage and keep track of

undo redo could be Shift-T Shift Y in build mode

I have a disability and my left hand does not always cooperate I would love the old controls back or at least the option to remap the controlls so I can put them back, this new setup has reduced my planned gaming time drastically due to how uncomfortable the new controls are to use

Some points are good, some I can't agree with. The old control was horrible for me, always need to put my hand from my mouse to reach the keys for rotating blocks. Now I don't need that anymore and after near 50 hours in SE2 I don't want the old controls back. But some little tweaking would be fine.

General I'm for options, so setting up own key bindings should be a must in SE2. Not like it was in SE1. That way everyone can change it how they want it and for some gamers with disabilities it is a need.

I agree, the new control scheme is a big improvement. It needs some tweaking and fine tuning but I'd hate to go back to SE1 controls. The use of the page, home, etc required moving your hand off the mouse or abandoning the WASD position. That was never intuitive and on smaller keyboards often confusing due to those keys being laid out oddly.

I suspect all of this will be solved when they implement the key binding systems.

One thing I'd like to see them change and soon is providing better tool tips for the controls. Also the ability to change block selection in a group with mouse wheel like in SE1
