The Barn - Unweldable battery and smelter

I'm double-checking again after the patch, but I actually did verify my install after the first bug that I encountered with the intro video not having any audio component. It came back with all files verified as good.

I did notice that both the battery and smelter had a gap between the wall and their ghostly outlines, maybe around the 0.25m mark (very small gap). I didn't notice a height difference between my blueprint and the one that didn't weld, but it might have been subtle.

The process completed and said all 41147 files were validated.

After the patch, reverifying the game, and restarting the game, I was able to weld up the battery and smelter at The Barn. This appears to be fixed.

I wrote this comment on my own bug report page referring to my own instance of it happening. It feels a tadd uncomfortable that my comment was moved as if I commented here instead. This feels like it could be used to make me say things I didn't say by changing their context. Also I think my text explaining my own instance is gone. I do agree that this is the same bug as my own though. Not currently set up to try and reproduce it in the patch yet though

Both threads were merged as they were referring to the same issue. When threads are merged all the comments are moved to the main thread, you can still see your description under "Merged Objects"

All or most of the attached files should also be moved to the main thread.

Please note that this is a standard procedure to reduce clutter and speed up investigation of issues.

Calling something a standard procedure doesn't make it less concerning. If anythying that can mean it's far more concerning because the concerning thing is being done often to more people. That said, I'm satisifed with the situation so long as my comment reflecting that concern is here. I'd be more concerned if I could see where this merged objects thing is. I'm scrolling up and down and don't see it

Confirmed. I restarted the game as recommended by the recent release, and the battery and smelter in The Barn are not weldable again. I was able to weld up ones that I newly placed, but the others refuse to weld. See attached video.
