Why can't I do an exact copy of the Bullfrog miner which doesn't shake whilst minig?

I made a literally exact copy of the Bullfrog miner (exact down to the two t-conveyors with an unconnected end). Why mine violently shakes whilst mining where the original doesn't?

Plus why the orginal has a battery which always keeps 100% charge, no matter how long I'm using it without connecting it to another grid?

Yours somewhat befuddled Martin

I don't know why the ship shakes.

As to why the ship had 100% energy, I think its a quality NPC ships can have. It seems that NPC ships can have unlimited energy and hydrogen, or at least the numbers don't change as its used or drained.

I guess I'll have to experiment with that ;-)

If it extends to player-modified and extended NPC ships, I could see that little Bullfrog miner being transformed into a proud big cruiser that can travel the stars forever without refueling.

I tried adding modules to the bullfrog but it didn't work. I don't have permission to add stuff to it.

If you are determined to have unlimited free energy, you can steal the bullfrog. As for hydrogen, there is a damaged hydrogen freighter that you can steal (after partially disassembling it for a mission), or you could return to the first space station and fuel up from one of the many connectors.

I tried looking for it but, that hydrogen freighter is gone in my game. I can't test it now. Oh well.

Not a big problem for me. Solar panels and ion thrusters cover most of my needs. I just need an oxygen source to keep going. Unfortunately no ship or station I've encountered thus far carries an oxygen tank.
