Ability of the grinder to release one block from the grid as an independent grid.
The ability of the welder to join, under suitable conditions (distance, rotation, parallel contact surfaces), two separate grids into one continuous grid. Or to join by means of suitable "joining parts" which are removed/destroyed after joining.
