The game will not load past the "Keen Software" house screen and I've already restarted and power cycled multiple times.

Hello,
I would suggest following:
1) Try if you can run any other game
2) Reinstall the game and try to run it
3) Try to run the game as a different user (the console must be in Home mode, so signed players share their games).
I had similar problem a few days ago and reinstall helped in my case.
