Xbox one graphics

I don’t know if this a bug for the original Xbox one or a choice for better performance, but there is no grass in my game and I have seen it on other Xbox’s like Xbox one x that they have grass.I think it would be good to have a option for Xbox one to have grass, because it makes the game look more appealing.

Well Xbox one X is much stronger than the standard Xbox. I can only imagine that the standard Xbox is struggling with this game. But I hope the best for you and that keen finds a way:)

I like what your saying here and I definitely agree. No mans sky can do exactly what this game can do when it comes to terrain and what not. The game runs very good on my original Xbox one..so I think there is no excuse to not have grass. I mean..the earth looks really boring. Simple stuff like this breaks emersion for a game. Space engineers is a great game. It has so much possible but simple quality of life is needed..the shadows and lighting system doesn’t even make sense. Other games can do it even low budget games so I’m pretty sure y’all can find a way. If you sit down and actually play on a Original x box you will see how dry it looks. I really wanted to start on earth..but I can’t because the emersion is broken.

Please please please. Add some quality of life..to all planets and moons..fix the textures.

Also water

Physics based water would kill most PCs. Without a question your Xbox would melt under the simulation physics of water

Build a PC... Just because game A does X, doesn’t mean game B can do X as well. They are not the same engines. That’s like saying my car runs a 1/4th mile in the 13s and you happen to own the same model so yours must run the 1/4th mile in 13s as well. As it turns out anyone who knows cars knows that only a very small handful of them can run 13s without modifications. So my point is you want grass... you need to modify the hardware or the software... not so easy to modify the hardware or the software on an Xbox, on a PC the limitations are bound by the weight of your wallet, just like 1/4 mile time on just about any car.

Besides it’s grass... I must assume anytime someone posts about non interactive or performance involving issues but merely graphics alone that they must of been born recently. Graphics are set the way they are because the game has to run well with others online and when PCU count is at max. Instead of adding grass... why not add the OPTION to add grass in the settings ? That way the rest of us who prefer FPS and UPS over eye candy can maintain that rather than having our experience tarnished for a few blades in the wind.

It’s a ram limitation. Physics based games are very demanding and the console you’re all playing on (OG XBOX ONE) is 7 freakin’ years old. By any technology standard, it’s obsolete.

I still think that no excuse to push out an unfinished earth out like that...it looks horrible..can’t even play the game without seeing the lighting for earth on Xbox one original. If no mans sky can do it...since day 1 this game should be able to do it..

No mans Sky is not a physics based game strung together with spaghetti coding. HUGE difference between the two games

Your wasting your breathe. Trying to explain to the uninformed why,.. when 16 is needed but you only have 6 of 8 to work with is reason alone for most, but the rest want the world on a platter for the cost of a pizza delivery. I deal with it all day at work.. #1 complaint on notebooks is “the unit feels warm and the fan makes noise”. Ridiculous ... if anyone reading this knows how to harness the speed of a light without generating heat or making noise make sure you write that down and tell me. Well both be richer then God if your correct.

That’s a really long way of saying everyone is ignorant as hell 😂

Some people like a well polished game or worlds environment..it already suck the game has no NPCs yet..so the setting needs to make up for that..it can hinder emersion..just because you are sitting up there with a Xbox one X or whatever you have and don’t have to see the earth and it’s graphics on a OG Xbox doesn’t really mean that I’m ignorant..it’s not too bad to want..like I said..there are other physics games that can do it and I have no doubt that they can get the job done.

Well, I ask you guys what physics needed to render grass? Just a cosmetic thing with a little animation, no ultra shades needed. So sad looking planet right now.
