Xbox grouping

Some parts won't form functional groups. When I group them other parts that I didn't add to the group get added in anyway. When I try to use that group it just turns everything in any attached groups off. I tried to make a group for thrusters on a small grid ship, when I used the group everything (batteries, refineries,lights, everything) inthe grid I wasnconnected to turned off. It did the same with lights on a small grid ship.

When i was working on my finished rover i noticed when groupinng my rovers wheels together that when i multi selected them that i could not change most except on/off and two other options, i tryed grouping them it allowed that but when i set the group to my hotbar i could only map and it would not allow me to set what function it was for, i have not tried any other objects but i fear it might be the same for other single and grouped objects whether in the control panel or vehicle hotbar. If possible, please fix soon, thank you, and this could be because i got a wierd spawn but im unsure if the small grid ore detecter works, if possible please check and confirm. If it another xbox player knows that it does, let me know. (xbox)
