Upgradable thrusters

I have always found it annoying when I create a ship and I have to put so many thrusters on it to make sure it can fly on a planet which in some cases ruins the look, but if we have some thrusters that could be upgraded I wouldn't have to put as many thrusters around the ship. Obviously with thrusters that are upgraded they would be more powerful but would be more expensive to make and consume more fuel. When it comes to building large ships, fewer thrusters might help with performance.
