Tank Treads and cannon for ship

Would you guy add tank Treads to the game it would be cool to make some nice half track rover to get around the Terrain


Cannon for ship and rover would be a nice addition to the game sowe can have some more oof when fight other player

This would be really handy to have as a way to provide additional grip on moving bases.

Tracks and a larger a sort of weapon tree would be amazing especially for PVP capabilities as well PVE

i think tracks should be implemented but I think the cannon was implemented in the form of the assault cannon.

Tank treads would be amazing but I heard there's a problem with implementing blocks that have to connect in a certain way, because the blocks have to merge together to create a tread, and I've been thinking on how to implement it and I've came up with 2 different solutions.

First: create a front, middle and end type block, you place a front/ end block, add as many middles you like them place the last type at the end. The ai will then register a track has been completed and will script a tread over all corresponding blocks.

Second idea: create a block that only graphically looks like it's merged into a track but function like a wheel.

I'd prefer something similar to option 1, but my tank needs tracks and I'm willing to accept anything at this point.

Tank threads would be amazing, while there are ways to make them in the game right now it's too complicated for the average Joe and very expensive PCU and Time wise so a block would be ideal.

The block could be in various shapes so that someone can choose what the length of the thread choose like wheels, for exemple, a 1 block wide 3 tall and 6 long, or a 3x3x3 etc, it would be difficult to model but would be worth it, especially if a dlc version could add different type of transmissions and roadwheels/sprockets

We need more options for ground based equipment! With planetary exploration, and even potentially lunar exploration, potentially being a huge part of the global encounter system, It would make a lot of sense that multiple kinds of vehicles, different advantages and disadvantages would provide engineering challenges for players! Along with this, it could provide in the near future, ways to increase the amount of encounters and interactions. Imagine running into a Factorum Tank! How terrifying it would be if you were inside a ground facility, only to be met by a twin assault cannon Mounted in the turret of a white and gold tank. Or perhaps, when the systems get to the point where global encounters can come to the players, imagine, enemy, factions utilizing tanks, Artillery, mobile Railgun platforms, And other unique ground vehicles to assault player bases on planets!
