Are we going to get spiders? Because that would be cool to deal with.

Mainly because I am able to set up on a planet and never see a pirate. Kinda have no threat besides my self.

No spider Npc on Mars:(

So I just Noticed that the game do not have experimental mode, so I guess that means no random encounters with hungry spider NPC. Makes me a bit sad. I was hoping to land on Mars. Set up camp with defense and go mining. Then it would be so awesome if you actually had to be careful at night or something. Spiders could attack you. Would definitely give us a reason to protect ourselves. Bring guns or have turrets on our ships/vehicles. Or just for fun go on a bug hunt.

World is pretty empty on the Xbox let’s all admit that. Sure you may see a relic ship in space now and then, but they are no danger.

So I truly hope you will give us the option to setup Spider/wolfs to our worlds.

Right now I’m making small antennas with the name "MiningOperationSite" and converting them to pirates. They will spawn enemy drones now and then. So I guess that is at least something.

But I really do enjoy the building stuff. I just don’t really have any point in using them. Especially base defenses or attack ships. Cause there is nothing to be afraid of. Thanks for listening.

Question about experimental mode

So I just tried the experimental mode on SE Xbox beta. I am assuming it drops later in the full game, once it has been tweaked etc etc.

Anyway I’m really happy to see that we will be able to make new solar system with the new planets. Triton, Titan and Alien world etc.

And I can see we can increase meteor storm. All cool and all.

Anyway here is my question since I couldn’t find it.

1. Will NPC Spiders be in experimental also? I definitely would like to blast some space bugs when on the Alien world or other planet etc etc. maybe build a starship troopers outpost and fight of spiders.

2. If they are not part of this upcoming update, will they then be part of an update later as an option to turn on/off perhaps? Would definitely make planets more dangerous and scary especially at night.

Adding wolves and spiders to space engineers for the Xbox version of the game.

please add the wolfs and spiders to the game the xbox need more enemy's the worlds ar boring and add more different drones or a option for your drone form mod io to the enemy base

Thank you for your consideration. I really enjoy the game. But yeah the spiders would definitely be a fun thing. I would make a starship troopers camp on Mars, And give them critters some lead poisoning muhahahahaah;)

Yes i agree. Space Engineers for Xbox will be pretty empty on its own with the very low amount of players that can join. Plus we don’t have access to all the awesome scripts from workshop like pc, that can make the game more alive with Npc ships, bases, convoys, ships and drones that can spawn on planets and space.

So yeah having the the dangers such as spiders/wolfs etc etc that keen already added to experimental mod for pc would definitely spice up the survival aspect of the game...

So let’s hope they will consider that and can find a way to make it work. I’m crossing my fingers, cause I really wanna land with my new Dr-4 Viking starship trooper dropship and tell my friends to disembark and get torn to shreds by bugs, while fanatically trying to set up a base or stronghold;)

maybe add some crashed ships and rovers randomly on the planets too and the odd pirate base as well that attacks and sends drones out if u get to close
