Server OSF Academy: PVP area worlds digging is offset by a long shot

BearGawn shared this bug 3 years ago
Won't Fix

On my dedicated Nitrado Server "OSF Academy", the worlds we placed for PVP at around 2.1 LS from Center, all have the same issue while mining on the surface. The dug up material will appear behind and some distance away from the miner instead of directly in front of them. This issue does not appear with Asteroids in the same region. We also have a PVE zone 10K out from Center with none of the reported issues.

If you join the world and select Faction with Tag "PVP" named "Player vs Player Temporary" to have PVP planets listed with their spawn options, you can test this out for yourselves.

Side Note: It would be GREAT if we could actually name the planets for the Xbox version.

Hello Engineer,

We have been unable to reproduce the issue you specified. The Faction you mention doesn't seem to exist on this server. We have tested mining on the planet that was specified as designated for PVP in the Server Message of the Day: Alien-666085831d120.

Could you please confirm this was the planet that was causing the issues on your side? Is the bug present with hand drill, miner ships or both? Any other information on the reproduction steps would help as well.

Thank you!
