Please, guys, make it possible. It is so inconvenient to get my save overriden by autosave right after a ship crash or something like that. :)

you still have a backup saves present on your console. You can revive older save after such accident. See Backup button in the Load game screen.

Or you could switch autosave off and just remember to save it periodically yourself, thats what i do

I just do not understand why you cannot implement it? The game is awfully unstable and it is a pain to manage saves every time. Why can't you try to make this game less painful for a player? It is not for free? Why should I buy a game and all DLC and get "it is not a bug" or "it is how we implemented it" or "just find some backups" and so on? I still keep my 2-star review then.
