Safe zones

Won't Fix

my gt iTHEANDYi was not the owner of the safe zone my wifes account was the owner grid.

I logged in 1 time to that account and never built 1 block.

I caught the player with a large grid assembler in my name attatched to his small grid ship.

I pushed that ship into the moon to avoid bad reputation and noticed while doing so he avoided my turrets some how like they didnt even see him Both my turrets and wifes turrets reacted the same. I never allowed him into my faction nor accepted any requests. Reactor was not allowed to share and connectors were off. he walked right in after turning off grinding in my safe zone. I gave the admin specific time and the names involved to look into the logs showing the pc player altering the ownership. I now see why after reading the countless complaints reassuring my suspicion that the game is in fact badly broken.

after looking at the debris i noticed turrets in tact with missles still in the ready. what would stop me from using alt and doing the same thing to every player on the server resulting in an invisible grid.

Hello Engineers,

Unfortunately there will always be bad actors. We're always on the lookout for new exploits and we're fixing them as top priority.

If we understood you correctly, that player used transferring the ownership of one of the blocks on his ship to avoid being targeted by turrets.

And then somehow disabled or accessed the safe zone, is that correct?

We can assure you that the first issue will be addressed in the upcoming version. To address the second issue we'd need a way to reliably reproduce the issue. Was your Safe Zone disabled or just accessed?

We're aware of some exploits where safe zone was disabled, those have been addressed in the upcoming version.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
