Make the pc hotbar available on console with controllers

Please make the regular hotbar available even while using a controller. Inputs can be left and right dpad to move along the hotbar up and down dpad can change pages right trigger can activate. Thank you for your time.

I would definitely be er, keen to try out this feature. Maybe the beta? It could even be a toggle option in the game menu: use new hotbar setting []

how do you set up the LB and RB D-Pad controls in ships? Is it the same as the center D-Pad?
