Is it possible to make the moon round

I understand the more cuboid looking moon from the earth like is the byproduct of the graphics limitations, and for the most part the graphics are fine in my opinion. I just find it a bit odd when I look up from the earth like and see a square moon. I understand if it is not possible to change due to hardware limitations.

From the Earth like planet, the moon looks like a potato, but Mars is beautiful and spherical. The first time i saw it in the sky, i thought there was some weird floating generated mass like in Minecraft.
