my game keeps freezing randonly then makes a wierd buzzing noise the sends me back to xbox dashboard

They are fixing a few crashes for the next patch/update. The big one is Mining boulder ores on the surface of the planet will crash your game when it attempts to save/auto save. To avoid this specific crash just get the ores from underground they are safe to dig up.


Your problem may be fixed in the next update, but if its possible try to find a way to reproduce your crash and leave more details for the developer team so they know what to investigate the problem and fix it before the launch date.

Today one of the developers said this in the discord."New release 1.194.052 (ETA: tomorrow) * crash fixes"

Won’t go past intro screen, first time trying, I’ll be getting a refund and not purchasing This speaks volumes, preordered too, such a shame and a waste of time and money

You do know this is a Closed beta right? You installed the Space Engineers BETA of the game to HELP the developers bug test the game before launch. This isn't a final product. Why did you sign up for the beta if your not going to bug test it and provide feedback how to fix the game. This isn't early access. Early access is April the 11th and full launch is April 15th. If your having issues with the game then join the Discord or Submit a ticket into the forum.


Edit: The game actually runs quite well on my xbox one x btw.

Edit 2: Also you do know sandbox games are the hardest to bug fix since there almost a infinite world and infinite possibilities.

You know I figured something was up when it said closed beta in download title but....😂 update btw after trying all day everything imaginable, it just randomly started working sooo we’ll see I suppose

This is a beta expect bugs it’s not perfect we are supposed to help the developers make the game better so please tell us what happened that led up to the crash did you sit there and do nothing or did you mine surface ore then it crashed and you kept doing the same thing?
