Error while loading world. See log for more info!

Duplicate

I was playing on Xbox just fine then closed game came back later to play went to open world and got above said error tried multiple worlds new worlds and even joining servers all have the same error I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling but is there any way for Xbox people to fix this issue?

My buddy is having this issue while trying to join my game or one of the other publicly shared games. I'm having issue connecting to him as well.

My error is "Your device is no longer able to participate in the network because it can't communicate directly with any remote devices. Please, check the Internet connection for problems and try again."

I've power cycled my modem/route, and reset my console. I've also gone through my ISP to have my device reset. No changes or updates have occurred recently that I'm aware of.

So in my world I renamed it to something else and it loaded up fine. As far as the network thing for you, I would try setting his xbox to a public ip address. You'll have to go into the router setting and usualy under DMZ menu or select the xbox from the wireless menu and assign the public ip address of a connection to a device. Look up how to do it for his router. Do be advised tho this is bad and has a direct connection to the internet without any firewall but may resolve his issue. Also another thing to check isbto go into the game and application sharing.menu and make sure UPnP is enabled for xbox live.
