Solved

So I am trying to use small drill on my ship to mine, it has no problem mining ground but it doesn't change how heavy it is and it does no damage to meteorites sand does not collect ore from them at all

I have the same bug

Hello,

I wasn't able to reproduce the issue, is it still happening to you? If yes, can you send exact steps to reproduce and maybe also blueprint of the grid if it happens only with it.

I have the same problem....to reproduce, put a drill on any ship or rover and it will not drill any meteors. I'm in Survival if that matters. Steam version 1.196.016.

For me it won't even work using Handdrills. Tried playing with meteor showers on, I can drill them, but no ores or stones come out.

I think that's a different issue i also don't get stone from the meteors when i hand drill, the stone disappears but doesn't yield any stone, with the issue posted here the stone wont even disappear, it stays there unless you hand drill it. It can't be removed with a mounted drill.

I think this is a different issue, i also get no yield from drilling meteors (other than the small amount of ore in some) The issue posted here is mounted drills won't even remove the stone . I built a rover just to flatten the landscape from the numerous meteors around the base and they can't be removed unless you do it by hand making it almost impossible to get a small grid rover in or out of my base.

Thanks for the reply. It will be fixed in next major update on Xbox (v.196, Spark of the Future), probably during September. The reason why i wasn't able to reproduce it is that it is already fixed on the version I tested it on.

Please wait until the next update and in case it wouldn't work, let us know please.
