Battery Menu Causes Frequent Crashing - In Space

Won't Fix

When opening and trying to close the Battery menu, the game crashes. It did not do this while on earth, but it does it very frequently for me while in space. The game will either turn itself off or I have to force it to restart when this happens.

is it still an issue on the latest version?

Yes i was playing 5 mins ago and when in the ship menu if batteries are highlighted/ selected the game slows down and lags alot.

It occurs in atmosphere too when the battery is being quickly drained. It has to do with updating the output and time to depletion numbers when engines are in use. (Its because the output is constantly changing)

Hope this helps you to find a solution:)

The battery displays too much information that changes and fluctuates much more in space and calculating all the numbers lags out the game and takes forever to get to what you want in the control pannels if it's past the batteries makes it really hard because it's also only restricted by being alphabetical (if we can sort by different categories that would be great is what im trying to say)

Hello, Engineers!

We optimized it in v194.523. The game should not crash. Please update your game and try if your problem has been fixed. If not, then please give us all the relevant information (saved game, steps to reproduce the issue, etc.), which would help us finding the problem and subsequently fixing it as fast as we could.
