Dedicated server version mismatch

Need More Information

I've spent a few days troubleshooting this not sure the solution. I have a PC I'm trying to run the dedicated server tool from steam. I can get a server to appear I can join the server with my other PC. I have console compatibility on but when I have my kid join using his Xbox series S when he goes searching for the server he needs to allow it to show incompatible games. When he trys to join we get the error in the picture. We have both uninstalled the games. I've tryed running on 208v vs 209v and I just get the same error just different version numbers. It seems like the Xbox and PC versions are slightly different at present? Idk I'm just following YouTube guides I have no idea how this works just want to play with my kid without having to get another steam account haha. Thanks for your time.

Oh ok. Yeah sorry this was legit the first time I was setting up a dedicated server so wasn't sure if I did something wrong lol the video I was watching was like 6 years old. That makes sense thanks for the comment I'll wait.
