As linked above I had posted the exact same problem that had happened a few days ago but it has happened again seemingly in the same way, minus the attempt to change the the backup file name.

I had sent a log last night through the menu but forgot to add any details that could link it to myself so will try again later.

Ive tried twice to resolve this through hard resets or power cycles and will be leaving my console without power for an extended amount of time to try to resolve this the same I seemingly fixed it before.

all details are the same

Details:

Xbox Series X.

Own all Dlcs.

Cloud storage shown on menu semi close to full (over 25mb free)

Save in question over half current PCU and over a year old.

I do also have a fair few mods mainly blocks to full in the gaps of missing vanilla blocks but as part of fieldwork mods were made non-experimental so shouldn't be the cause.

still use experimental options in worlds due to using a fair amount of pistons and rotors so share inertia tensor is mandatory if I want even partial stability.

I can still save blueprints but not save worlds, I had even tried to start a new save to move blueprints over that refused to save showing the same message that I did get a screenshot of this time

27ba08ca2e1ac63cc53f16cf03bcc75f

I thankfully after seeing this message had saved all builds within the world as blueprints but even when deleting older blueprints and some previous saves the message keeps popping stopping the ability to make any progress.

Another bug that ill have to attempt to test as it may be related is what was mentioned partially in previous bug report being that the when trying to create a new world through community creations the loading popup crashed the game to dashboard. I hadn't tried this between these two corruption events but if the current corruption and save issue is solved I will try it to see if I'm met with the same problem.

I'm getting a little annoyed as after the PCU reduction during the fieldwork update id basically swore of playing SE but decided it was a little petty and came back to have the same world corrupt twice within a week when I had never had a world corrupt like this in the 6 years ive been playing on Xbox since the closed beta, sure there's been crashes but that's to be expected when I was building to over 700k PCU in some cases but this feels way less stable.

I'm hoping this problem gets resolved, apologies if this may seem insensitive or rude but I am a little upset with this happening so frequently.

Hello, Engineer!

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues.

Since you're seeing error messages related to storage space, let's start with freeing up some. Please delete some of the saved games(you can publish them to mod.io to retain them).

Then let's check your total allocated storage. Please navigate to the New Game screen, select any game and select Choose Mods. On the middle bar press the bottom most button Open Workshop. Please provide a screenshot of that screen or let us know what the total storage is on your side(right bottom corner). If it's nearly full, please unsubscribe from some mods/blueprints/scripts/worlds.

Let's also try submitting logs.

  • Reproduce the issue by opening the Load Game menu and then attempting to start a world with default settings and restart the game after the crash
  • In the Main Menu press Y
  • Select Send Log tab
  • Enter some information into the window and press Send Log
  • Enter the same information in this thread so we can find your logs in our internal system

Kind Regards
