New xbox controls and interactions
I understand if the update to the controls was seen as a quality of life improvement. But I'd like to make a request.
You see, the update to the controls has made it incredibly difficult to build new designs in a relatively acceptable timeframe. However, now that when people like my fellow engineers and I go to look through the different items, we have to remember which category of the build menu we were last on, or we have to press "y" to reset the menu to the "recent blocks". This has caused incredible amounts of frustration. Thus, I'd like to propose something.
If at all possible, could your company consider adding a drop down menu in the controls settings? The menu would have two settings. One would keep the most recent updates to the menus and whatever, whereas switching it to "legacy" would make it so those of us who were more used to the old fashioned way of scrolling through the menus would be able to use that method of scrolling through the menus instead.
I'm just asking if you would consider this for a future update. That's all.

I agree. With the last update changing the build menu organization, I already use a mod to revert it. Adding more change to the menu is making building take longer for no reason other than minor quality of life changes that, in reality, nobody needed nor benefits from.
