XBOX Key mapping with Keyboard and Mouse

Won't Fix

I noticed that every time I am trying to place some Characters like “{“ into the script at the Programmable Block it won’t type them down but instead giving me a high note sound as if I clicked any invalid keys… it is basically the same with every single Alt-Gr Key. Normal Alt keys like “/“ are working fine.

I really want to get into the programmable block but this makes it hard for me - please help x.x

I’m using the German QWERTZ - Layout at my Keyboard.

We will forward your question to our developers and inquire if the German layout is currently supported. In the meantime you can use the EN-US layout to access all symbols required for the programmable block.

Hello Engineer,

Could you please tell us if those symbols work outside of Space Engineers on your Xbox? For example in the browser? Do they work in any other text field within Space Engineers, for example in Text in any LCD block?
