Automaton Beta : Custom turret controller issue.

I made a mining rover, used rotor for azimuth and hinge for elevation of the drills, with the camera between the drills. pasted it in (from mod.io, own creation to mess with, works great in survival) beta.
Now if i control the CTC (from cockpit) it uses the camera as usual, but pressing "X" to exit camera view, exits the CTC as well, so it's impossible now to get 3th person view while operating the CTC.
Switching to 3th person from cockpit before operating the CTC doesn't help.
