Since the addition of the small grid 1x1 rotors when ever you add a small head to a large grid rotor it always adds the 1x1 head. If you want a small 3x3 you end up having to place one above it and attaching it manually which takes a long time if you have a lot of rotors. I feel there should be two options to add a small head in the menu.
