Infinite Syncing on Xbox

Won't Fix

Hi, im writing a ticket due to an issue i am having on the Xbox, iv read this problem has happened to other people, where the Syncing process seems to finish then re-do in a constant loop, i can make new games and save but if i go into load game, it starts happening. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. This is also the third time writing this, just hoping I'm putting it in the right place.

Could you please try sending us a log? To send the log:

Attempt to load a game and wait for the synching process to finish.

Open the Help Menu by pressing Y in the Main Menu.

Select the Report Issue tab.

Fill in the contact info.

Post a message to this ticket with that contact info so that we could find your log.

thanks for the response, the issue seems to not get back to the main title screen unless i shut down the game and reopen it. So, the game starts, it goes to the main menu, from there I can select new game, continue a game I started to see if that corrected it (it didnt help, but it lets me continue that game) and then i can select join, character and load game options. However when i select the load game option, thats where the issues have started, as it goes into the endless loop of syncing the game, finishing, then doing it again, and im unable to leave that menu, so its locked in. nothing shows up. I'll send a report anyways, but I cant do it after I've tried to load and sync.

I have the same issue. Its impossible to send a report because the console doesnt complete the sync. The game wont register a problem until the sync has finished, but the console goes into a soft lock preventing the sync from finishing, forcing it to start the sync over again. The only way out of the soft lock is to quit to the dashboard. Waiting doesnt fix the issue. I waited a whole day and it never stopped syncing.

I play this game so much but now i cant as this is affecting both the retain and the Beta versions.

that was the same as me, it only recently allowed me to cancel the sync and it finally started loading up the old files, but every time I go in it still tries to sync i just have to cancel it. No idea what slightly fixed it which is upsetting because i cant even suggest a fix for it. I tried deleting the local saved stuff, or even trying it in offline (like u know when u play it un sync'ed u can choose to switch to making the offline other stuff ur new stuff and it replaces it, but this option never shown up.) also no ones really got back to me from in game or here so, its a bit worrying. hopefully they can get back to you on it, id suggest doing what i did in making his thread for urself and maybe they did fix it a bit without saying they did. other wise think ur in the same boat as me. =/

Hello Engineers,

You can reproduce the issue, quit the game, restart the game and send the log immediately afterwards, it will still contain relevant data. We really need reliable steps to reproduce or logs to do anything about this issue. Thanks for your understanding.
