Windows, light panel, and all very thin blocks not weldable or grindable

When I place a small grid window or a light panel and I pull out my welder or grinder, the block behind it shows up on the info. So I cannot weld or grind away a placed panel block. Seems like it’s this way for all very thin blocks. I am on single player survival. I have wasteland encounters continue, terra - realistic geography, AQD - Planetary Respawn Rovers, Awful Jetpacks, (Queen of heaven) Skybox mods enabled. On Xbox series X

you can grind and weld them it's just you have to get real close. literally, have your head touching the craft of structure then you can grind or weld from the side of the block.
From what I've seen the hitbox for the welding through manual means on the thinner panels blocks walkways etc has been like this since way before it was released on Xbox as it was mentioned as being annoying in some of the earlier survival series that captain jack created.
you can grind and weld them it's just you have to get real close. literally, have your head touching the craft of structure then you can grind or weld from the side of the block.
