Rotating light detaches from base

Matthew Chinn shared this bug 2 years ago
Not a Bug

Had 4 rotating lights mounted on a subgrid, if the grid was moved whilst the lights were switched off the rotating part detached and stayed in position. The detached lights still have a collision box for the player.

Turning the lights on restored the rotating part to the correct location

Video clips of it happening

Hello Engineers,

Unfortunately we've been unable to reproduce this issue on our side from the save you've provided. Would you happen to have a save or a blueprint you could share? As we've understood from the video, you've been in Multiplayer, were you using a server with any modes by any chance?

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Yes we were on a modded cross-play enabled Nitrado server.

Just to add to this, I do not use mods and this issue is present with the dlc rotating light block.

Hello Engineers,

Unfortunately we've been unable to reproduce this issue on our side. It is possible the issue was caused by the mods. We will close this thread.

Thank you.

I only recently got some of the dlc and this was the first bug I saw with the new dlc, I recorded a video also of it happening.

Basically if i turn it off, the light detaches, and then when I turn it back on, it reconnects.. same for powering on / off whole vehicle that the rotating light is on.

Just to update this thread, I only just realized this bug is located in the xbox subsection, I am on PC and this bug is present on PC also.

Do I need to create a new thread in the PC bug report subsection?
