Infinite Joining world followed by (lost connection to host

Solved

This is a bug I've only encountered on Xbox series X and is easily reproducible. If you play on a Official server then log out and switch off the Xbox then upon trying to join the server next time the Xbox is turned on, you are locked out from joining that server and greeted by the infinite joining loop. This has happened twice to me now. The first time I tried uninstalling the game and clearing the cache and reinstalling to no avail. eventually after 3-4 days of inactivity I was able to get back into the server I was on. This bug seems to be very frequent and game breaking Ido hope I've left enough information for it to be resolved soon.

Hello Engineer,

Could you send us game logs? Attempt to join that server and then follow these steps:

  1. Press Y on gamepad or F1 on keyboard in the Main Menu or Pause Menu to open Help screen
  2. Open section Report issue
  3. Fill up email address (required) and description (optional)
  4. Press ‘Send report’ to send it
  5. Update this thread with details filled in the report for us to be able to identify it

Thank you!

Done it twice already. Can you tell me if there's anyway of avoiding this phenomenon? I've read speculation that it's due to the quick resume feature, would a total shut down of the Xbox after logging off prevent this or is there a setting I could change?

Hello Engineer,

We've added your report to a ticket in our internal system relating to this issue. As a temporary solution we recommend removing this game from the Quick Resume Xbox feature.

Thank you!
