Space engineers keeps crashing over memory

Aj Dickinson shared this bug 3 years ago
Won't Fix

I've had to uninstall and reinstall my game a hundred times! it keeps giving me an error about it couldn't save my world due to low memory even though I've only used 50 out of the 256 MB on the game. it's honestly getting really annoying to the point where I can't even play the damn game. Everyday I have to uninstall and reinstall as soon as I load into a world. How do I fix this

Hello,

what exactly is happening? Is the game crashing or it just doesn't save the world? In the title it's stated that the game keeps crashing, in the rest of the text is no mention of a crash though. Problems with low memory happen most usually due to low operational memory, not space on hard drive or cloud. Could you please specify how often and when it happens?

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Hi,

How often does it happen? Which Xbox are you playing on? Could you upload the world on mod.io?

Thank you.

Would it be possible to upload the world (the last save) that is no longer possible to save? If you would be able to tell what must happen in the world for it to become unsaveable it would be really helpful.

The second thing is the log, there might be some additional info as well.

To send a log:

  1. Press Y on gamepad or F1 on keyboard in the Main Menu or Pause Menu to open Help screen
  2. Open section Report issue
  3. Fill up email address and description (required for later identification)
  4. Press ‘Send report’ to send it
  5. Post report details into the thread (email address, description and game version) so we can identify the log

Thank you.
