Limit world size option not working

Richard Karcher shared this bug 3 years ago
Won't Fix

When creating a world you can set a world size limit. However, this causes no effect in game and upon exiting the save and looking at the world setting (from the load menu) the limit world size setting will be set at unlimited.

Hello, Engineer!

Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce your issue. Are you sure you confirm the setting by pressing X and not pressing B when in advanced settings?

Yes. Upon setting a world size limit a border should be present that prevents players or grids from going past a certain point. I have tested this multiple times both in the world to see if the setting was not showing correctly but functioning and by changing multiple settings to confirm that I had properly applied the settings. Both of which resulted in the setting not being applied.

The recent patch has fixed the setting for initial world creation when looking in the settings menu for a new world, but the limit is not applied to the world. Here are screenshots of: the world generation menu (yes I checked to make sure the settings were locked in), me in the world being well outside of the limit, and what I found after exiting and saving and looking at the settings for the world

Hi, I wasn't able to reproduce it. Can you confirm it still happens?

Thanks!
