Please could you make landing gear that folds and unfolds when nearing ground.

You can do this pretty easily with rotors/pistons.

you can do it with pistons and stuff, but then it get clunky if your going for a small craft. expessically if you want a connecter on the bottom as well. it seems like im always deciding whether i want the ability to land, or the ability to connect with my supplies. (granted im fairly new and still learning how to make a decent ship)

The landing gear looks to be able to but it dasn't have a animation 😢 i hoop the can do that !!!

This or being able to project sub-grids to build retractable landing gears in survival. Animations should be less demanding than sub-grid physics though, so I guess there's still value in single-block retractable landing gear.
