If you try to change a save game’s name it will give the following message “There was an error trying to rename your world. Please check your save folder for any problems.”

Hello, Engineer!

Could you please try this at version: 194.057? It seems to work fine our our end.

I'm having the same issue on 1.194.057. When I go to load game menu then click "X"/"Edit settings" and change the name then click "X"/"Ok". It'll give me the same error. I have made a video to show you how to preproduce the bug. The video is uploaded to YouTube and is unlisted like always. Hopefully this well help. I'll also did a report issue from inside the game so you can have access to the error/game log.

Specs

- Xbox one X

- Samsung T5 External SSD

- Ethernet

- Space Engineers v 1.194.057

- Star System World

- Earth Like Planet

Ya it doesn’t work with the current version for me either.

I'm having the same issue, same message is given as OP stated and when you check the save file it hasn't been renamed but there is a duplicate save with the same old name instead.

As in ShinyMooTank's video above this only appears to be an issue when done in the Load Game screen, doing a Save As from within the game itself seems to work fine.

This is still broken in version 1.194.059. Hopefully Version 1.194.061 will fix this bug when the update/patch hits the xbox server.
