I have the same bug
I also have ran into the audio glitch several times. It happens sometimes when I'm crouching and drilling down. Then the drilling sound is played every time i walk with not having any tools in my hand. I been temporary fixing it by switching to third person camera then back to first person. Its some kind of audio looping bug that I only hear when I walk back to my ship after walking back from a mining trip. I haven't checked if it happens with any other tools or different areas. I have only been on the planet earth so far.
