Add random encounters on planets.

Just like in space in think that on planets we should be able to have random encounters on planets and I think for these random encounters we should have abandoned colony's, stations, crashed ships, enemy camps and abandoned or enemy bunkers. I think this would improve planets and make planets even more fun than before especially for single player.

yes i think the planet a very empty. And need work, maybe add random small and large bases for each faction. Random patrols and groups. Add a good A.I. Script. So they fight back well, take cover when needed. I also think adding different creators type to each planet would just make it more realistic and more immersive. Not a lot but just afew species to each planet and maybe space.

I still think the game would benefit in more random patrols and encounters. Their really needs to be more bases and enemies on the planets. Just to spice things up. The game gets boring after you hit the building limit. The new food edition helps. It’s the right step in the right direction. But adding creators in space and on planets would just be the icing on top of the cake. This would be great for the new food gathering too. Developers think about this rabbits and deers for earth. Alien planets flying insect swarms and leaches to keep in the theme of those types of planets. Moons large worms and maybe electronic or metal eating bugs. Like small spiders or ants. This is just example. Think how more immersive this would be. Plus the gathering of resources from killing these things. Say if the insects eat metal and parts. Killing them get something like it back. I think the planets are really bare and need some love and attention. What does everyone else think. I bought all the addons. Which cost with the game. Over 200 CAD. It just would be nice if the game had more to it then just building and harvesting. I know they have small missions. But in single player mode like ground fights. That come to you is more exciting.

Note to developers a problem with one of Window blocks. I am betting other would want this too. Windows 2# bay windows. This needs a corner cell or a square with two sides closed touching, two sides open touching. When you build “L” shape. With these windows. You Can not be close or sealed this nicely. The celling corner of the “L” shape design does not blend nicely with bay window blocks, the block just don’t work. It would be amazing if this block could get added. This Opens up a lot of new possibilities for designs with this single corner bay window block to be added.

Thank you.

If it could be combined with special loot or mini events it would be even more appealing.

Won’t it be great to get more life on all the planets. I still say the game would benefit animals that we can hunt, farm. It would be even more awesome if they hunt and attack us too. Alien life in game would make the game a lot better. Plus everyone has said the planets are lifeless and boring at times. Adding more trees and plant life would be a huge plus. Face it the game needs this environment fix. Everything is dated and old. Today even with the old game engine I am sure this all can be done easily. Now this would be an addon worth buying.

Honestly, I love this idea! Random encounters on planets would be such a game-changer—finding abandoned colonies or crashed ships would make exploration feel so much more rewarding. It's kind of like how Omegle makes chatting random and unpredictable, you know? You never know what you're gonna find next, and that's what makes it exciting. Adding enemy camps and bunkers would definitely keep solo players engaged and make every planet feel unique and worth exploring.

I completely agree with this idea! Random encounters would definitely add more depth to planetary exploration. Discovering abandoned colonies and crashed ships scattered across planets would create those memorable moments that keep single-player exciting. On the Fnaf platform, you could share and vote on these encounter types, letting developers see which ideas resonate most with the community. It's a great way to crowdsource game design and help shape future updates based on what players actually want to experience.

Hey, great suggestion! Random encounters would definitely spice things up on planets, making exploration much more engaging. Imagine stumbling upon an abandoned bunker – it could be a real challenge to escape, maybe even involving a creepy, silent chase reminiscent of Granny! This would add so much replayability, especially for solo adventurers.

Dynamic planetary encounters would make exploring uncharted alien worlds so much more rewarding. Celebrating your feature feedback session with a quick, competitive game of Uno Online gives you a joyful experience.

Haven’t answered this in awhile, haven’t really played space engineers in a bit. I bought the last add-on. I played it for a few hours. Then that was it. This game needs a serious A.I bots upgrade.not just NPCs that walk around for show in space stations. I am Not just ships or drones. In 2026 compared to 99% of the games out there. Having immersive A.I combat bot or NPCs is a must. The digging, mining and building Gets olds fast. The missions are a improvement yes. But it’s still just ships and drones. Plus the planets still need a major upgrade. Basically barren, no life, nothing to do but mine is fine but get old quick This game is basically sad to say, it’s like stepping back 15 years ago and playing and old orginal Xbox game. I am not putting the game down. It is a ok game. It’s just dated. Needs some work to keep up with the day and time. Space egineers 2 should be the focus now. With all these concerns. People want an escape with a truly immersive environment, to take them somewhere else. For a short period of time. Let’s hope in the coming days. They add all the things that players want and ask for in the next coming days. Of course they are making the game they want, but your making and selling for and to the players too. Remember that. Without us. The game means nothing.
